Building Working Class Power

We’re a democratic, member-led organization fighting for economic and social justice in Humboldt County, California.

The future we are building towards is rooted in people —not profit.

Join us as we democratically choose and organize locally strategic campaigns. We strive to work across a variety of issue areas: housing and climate justice; labor solidarity; electoral; and migrant, worker and international human rights.

DSA Theory of Change

The capitalist class is the problem because they enforce an undemocratic economic system which requires ever more exploitation.

The working class is the agent of change because capitalism cannot function without workers.

Workers make change by building a movement of the majority, stopping production, shutting down sectors of the economy or society, and remaking our economic, social, and political systems by winning transformative demands.
